About Torsvag Havfiske
Torsvåg Havfiske is a 1 hour drive from Tromsø, located on the idyllic and serene Vannøy island. The area offers great opportunities for hiking in the summer and skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. With almost no light pollution there are great spots to look out for the Northern Lights. Our unique location towards the open sea makes it perfect for reaching the best fishing spots.
The record for the largest halibut caught at our resort, which for a while was the standing world record, is 194 kg. In addition to the large size of halibuts caught nearby, our guests enjoy catching other Arctic species such as cod, haddock, saithe, redfish and wolf fish.

Thanks to Ronnie and sonja and all the team at TORSVÅG HAVFISKE Great place to chill amongst fantastic scenery Lots of fantastic grounds to explore which can produce monster fish Our crew had 3 personal bests on one drift truly amazing Tackle shop and cafe on site which is a bonus Apartments and clean warm and have everything you need for a comfortable stay Highly recommend and looking forward to booking again next year
